    This was written over a year ago.
    I was looking forward to meeting some former co-workers at a restaurant last Saturday. We have been keeping a promise that we would start meeting once a month at a wonderful restaurant. This started occurring after my former supervisor's sister passed. She mentioned that she wanted to keep in touch with everyone. So we decided to just go ahead and just meet. What Is Holding You Here

   What is holding you here? Can we say time? Time is the small space that has you bound  to where you are now. Time has placed us in an arena of many things. Many  include extremely important decisions that will effect you when you are suddenly jutted outside of time. A house won't matter. Your car won't matter. How things change so quickly in our lives at times. They can happen in the twinkling of an eye; so fast.
    I know that it won't be long for Jesus to come back for us. I am praying that I will still be alive to be changed in a twinking of an eye. I am looking forward to seeing Him face to face, forever.

THE GIFT

(This was written about 3 years ago while I was homeschooling my son.

 

   My son and I were sitting at the table eating breakfast. We were not in a hurry! I had prepared oatmeal and 3 strips of bacon for myself. I had not eaten my bacon yet when my son wanted to know if I would share my bacon with him. I took the whole plate and handed all of the bacon to him.
